Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Northwind Law website and attorney referral services ("Services"). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our Services.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. By using our Services, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

User Responsibilities

When using our Services, you agree to:

• Not use the Services for any unlawful purpose
• Not impersonate any person or entity
• Not interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
• Not use automated systems to access the Services without permission

Fees and Payment

Any fees for legal services are determined by and paid directly to the attorney you engage. Fee arrangements are between you and your chosen attorney and are not controlled by Northwind Law. Northwind Law does not receive referral fees from network attorneys and any marketing, participation fees, or fee-sharing fees, if applicable, are not contingent on case outcomes. Any fee-sharing arrangements, if applicable, are disclosed to clients in writing and comply with all applicable professional conduct rules.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Northwind Law or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our express written permission.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Northwind Law and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Northwind Law regarding the use of our Services and supersede any prior agreements.
